Netflix is the best entertainment website I would like to watch in my free time. Sometimes, I just love to sit and watch my favorite shows on Netflix for hours and hours. But that joy ruins when Netflix login shows up error with chrome. Today in the early morning I was watching the crown but in the meantime, I got an error on my screen with the message “There is an unexpected error please reload the page and try again”. At that time I was not having any clue what to do and what not to do? As usual, when we don’t know anything we try to Google for the same. I did the same for it and discovered that Netflix login has some issues with Google chrome. Then I start looking for the solutions of these login issues. After searching for various hours I have found various issues and solutions for those issues about which I would like to share with you all as I think like me you are also fond of Netflix.
Various solutions which you can use if you have any issues with Netflix login are:
1 Check the version of Google Chrome
You can check whether you are using the updated version of Google Chrome or not by simply clicking on the three dots in the right-hand side of your window and look out for update Google chrome option I am not seeing any option as I am using an updated version of Google Chrome.
If you are using an old version then update the version or if you are using an updated version and still having a problem in Netflix login then look out for other solutions mentioned below.
2 Use Incognito Window
You can use an Incognito Window by pressing ctrl+shift+N from normal Google Chrome window. In the incognito window, Google Chrome does not form caches and various extensions which can cause hindrance in using Netflix in our browser.
You can now login Netflix in Incognito window.
3 Clear the caches and Cookies in the browsing history
Caches and cookies form in chrome which may create a problem in Netflix login. We can clear the caches and cookies by opening chrome://settings/clear browser data in a separate tab. This URL will open the following page
This will clear the caches and you can now login to your Netflix now without an issue or a problem.
4 Malware issues
Malware can be a reason for the problem in the Netflix login. Many of us don’t know if I didn’t know it earlier that Google Chrome comes with a malware cleanup tool. You can use this tool by opening chrome://settings in the URL. This will land up you to page where you need to scroll down to look out for option Advanced. This option is present in the bottom of the page, by clicking on this you will be redirected to a page where you need to look out for reset and clean up option which is present in the bottom of the page. Then you need to click on cleanup computer and you will be redirected to the following page:
Here Google Chrome will allow you to find all the harmful malware and software. After this action, Google may ask you to uninstall some of the software which is harmful. After removing them you can log in your Netflix and hope it works well without an issue.
5 Reset your Password
Sometimes if we are using the same password from a long time may create an issue while logging in. so, reset the password and login Netflix and enjoy this works for me as well.
6 Do you have net nanny software installed?
There is some software which interferes with the player Netflix needs to play various entertainment Shows and movies, a Net nanny is one of that software so, uninstall the software and login Netflix and enjoy.
7 Enable cookies in your browser
Enable the cookies in your browser by opening chrome://settings then you need to scroll down to lookout for option advanced which is in the bottom then click on site settings then, you will be redirected to a new page and from that page click on cookies and select the option Allow sites to save and read cookie data and keep local data only until you quit your browser.
Now login Netflix again and enjoy.
