Vacancy Details:

There are a total number of  189 vacancies. The 60th SSC (Men) has 175 vacancies with 49 in Civil Engineering, 42 in CS, 17 in Electrical Engineering, 26 in Electronics Engineering,32 in Mechanical Engineering, and 9 in miscellaneous positions. The 31st SSC (Women) has 14 vacancies 3 in Civil Engineering, 5 in CS, 1 in Electrical Engineering, 2 in Electronics Engineering, and 3 in Mechanical Engineering.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates having a B.E. or B.Tech degree may apply. Also eligible to apply are students who are in their last year of an engineering degree program.

Some educational requirements must be met by the widows of deceased defence personnel from the Indian Armed Forces. For SSCW (Non-Tech), a degree in any field is necessary (Non-UPSC). For SSCW, a B.E./B. Tech is necessary for any engineering stream (Tech).

Selection Procedure:

Applications screening: The job applications will be carefully examined before the preliminary shortlist of candidates is made. The student’s qualifications, grades, and other details will be examined. Applicants whose applications fully satisfy the eligibility standards will be chosen.

SSB Interview: Qualified candidates will be given invitations to the SSB Interview following the shortlisting of applications. Via emails and the official site, they will be informed of the SSB dates, timing, centers, and other information. They must show up at the SSB center on the designated date with the required documentation.

Medical Exam- Successful applicants must go through a medical exam after passing the SSB stage.

Applicants who have been approved after SSB and have had their medical fitness verified by the competent authorities will be given a joining letter. They must successfully complete the training course at the designated training institution in order to be commissioned as officers.

Step 1:Access the Indian Army’s official website at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
Step 2: Complete the registration process by selecting “Officer Entry Apply/Login” and afterward “Registration.” If you are already enrolled at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, registration is not necessary.
Step 3: Upon registering, select “Apply Online” from the Dashboard. It will open a window titled “Officers Selection – Eligibility.”
