Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Gameplay
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare has three different modes – Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Let’s get to know about them one-by-one:
Campaign Mode
For the 1st time ever in the history of warfare games, Activision released a new setting for Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. It’s Outer Space.
As the name suggests, it’s related to a zero-gravity environment. To move appropriately in the zero-gravity environment, your player will equip a boost pack and a grappling hook.
Apart from this, your player can go to different planets, asteroids, and satellites in the solar system.
Multiplayer
When it comes to development, Infinity Ward is the leading developer behind Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
And in this game, they’ve made significant changes in the class system called “Combat Rigs”. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare includes these Six Rigs –
- Merc
- FTL
- Phantom
- Stryker
- Synaptic
- Warfighter
If you’ve played Black Ops 3, then you might think of these rigs as the specialist system. Similar to specialists, all six rigs have different abilities, weapons, Abilities, payloads, and playstyles.
If you prefer Run and Gun than Synaptic rig is suitable and for those who want to play Call of Duty Infinite Warfare stealthily, the Phantom rig is made for you.
In a similar fashion, you can use the remaining four rigs in the game. Apart from this, the game features some powerful primary and secondary weapons.
And for each weapon, there are four prototypes classified into four groups – Epic, Legendary, Rare, and Epic.
Zombies
What do you think, whenever you hear of a zombie mode in a game? Same old wave-based mode, right?
Well, that’s not the case with Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. It introduced cooperative multiplayer zombies’ mode with its own storyline and gameplay mechanics.
This is what separated this gaming mode from the earlier mentioned campaign mode. The zombie mode in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is explicitly designed for the new players.
Wondering how? Well, it includes numerous new features such as sharing points, perks, power-ups, and teambuy doors.
Furthermore, similar to Gobblegums in Call of Duty Black Ops III, the zombie mode introduces a new fate and fortune cards.
What do they do?
Well, these cards offer temporary boosts to your players. But how would you get them? Well, earn as many game points as you can and use these cards to choose one card out of the presented five cards.
